If you have any signs of mold such as recent water damage or a musty smell, you may have a mold problem and will need a mold inspection and possibly mold testing.
Our goal is to help you and your family to stay healthy and to protect your home from the damaging effects of moisture and mold.
Raleigh Mold Inspection and Remediation is committed to providing you the most thorough and comprehensive mold inspection and testing available. We use state of the art assessment procedures and equipment to completely evaluate the air quality in your home or business. Our certified inspectors will identify the sources of moisture and water intrusion that may be causing growth, which can affect the property value and occupants’ health.
Certified Mold Inspectors
Our Certified Mold Inspectors will do a visual inspection of the entire home. This is the first step in identifying possible contamination problems. The exterior, crawl space and the whole interior will be inspected. The inspection will identify any visible water leaks or moisture stains on ceilings, wall, or under counters. Mold sampling will be recommended if there is any noticeable mold growth, musty odors, visible water damage or stains. By combining a visual inspection with air, tape or swab sampling, the Inspector can help identify the hidden source of mold, allergens and the extent of any acute or chronic water or moisture damage.
At completion the samples are sent to an accredited environmental laboratory. When we receive the lab report we will send you an evaluation, which consists of the lab results, detailed photos of any mold, and how to remediate any mold problem you may have.
Air Sampling and Testing
The purpose of air sampling is to determine the type and amount of airborne contamination in a building. Air sampling may be necessary if the presence of mold, allergens or toxins is suspected but cannot be identified by a visual inspection. When air sampling is performed, both the indoor air and outdoor air are sampled, so the results can be compared to see if a problem exists.
Bulk Sampling for Inspections
Tape or swab samples are considered bulk. These samples are usually collected from visible moldy surfaces.
